Welcome to Gabriel Taapopi Senior Secondary School (GTSSS), a center of excellence situated in Ongwediva, Oshana Region, Namibia.

Established in 1988, and officially inaugurated in 1989 by Deputy Education Minister Buddy Wentworth, GTSSS has grown into one of the top performing governmental secondary schools in the country.


Vision: To develop learners into responsible, innovative citizens.
Mission: To provide high-quality education that empowers learners for future success.


Grades: 8 to 12  
Learners: Approx. 1,000+ 
Teachers: Around 40 

Facilities included
• A large computer laboratory 
• Physics and biology laboratories 
• Extensive sports grounds, involved in sports such as soccer and netball
